The international crude oil price of Indian Basket as computed/published today by Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas went up to US$ 106.74 /per barrel (bbl) on 19.07.2013. This was higher than the price of US$ 106.46 /bbl prevailing on the previous trading day of 18.07.2013.

?In rupee terms also, the crude oil price has increased alongside the trend to reach Rs 6383.05/bbl on 19.7.2013 as compared to Rs 6356.73. /bbl on 18.07.2013. This was due to price increase in dollar terms and further fueled by rupee depreciation. The rupee dollar exchange rate on 19.07.2013 was Rs 59.80/US$ against Rs 59.71/US$ on previous trading day of 18.07.2013.?
